This card is SO magnetic!

So this past April I went to a Stampin’ Up! group meeting. These are such fun! Gathering with tons of other stampers, swapping projects, making projects, and there certainly always is laughing. At each meeting we do a card swap. I love doing these. So at about midnight my sweet husband and I sat down to watch “The OFFICE” and I went to work! I saw this darling idea in a magazine and so I made it my own and had a ball doing it! Here is the finished product.

Now the reason this card is so fun is because it is a fun gift and a card wrapped into one little card. If you remove the flower it is hooked to a magnet and then hermafixed to the card. The hermafix is only a temporary adhesive. I also cut out the front of the card and made it to look like a frame for the flower.

DSP: Pink Flamingo

Stamps: Happy Everything

Accessories: Real Red Corduroy Buttons, Magnet, Daisy #2 Die

Can I just say that I have fallen head over heels in love with my BIG SHOT die cutting machine! I thought it was great for paper crafting, but a couple of weekends ago I learned the art of quilting and sewing with this FABO machine! I cut out all of my material with the big shot and a couple of dies. Added some of the beautiful Stampin’ Up! ribbon for straps and made an adorable flower to make it look super cute all with the twist of the wrist! Easy Peasy! It was so fast to cut out. You can cut up to 8 layers of fabric in one foul swoop. AMAZING!

Super Stamping Slacker!

Wow, so I fell off the band wagon for a while. I had a rough year and a half. I had a baby, had 4 jaw surgeries, got infected and had to sit in one of those awesome hyperbaric chambers everyday for 6 weeks. Super long year wouldn’t you say? All is finally well now. So here I am! I am trying to get going again. I am wanting to post at least once a week, but I cannot make this a promise as I would probably be a big liar if I did. So, for now I am going to do my best! Hope to see you stamping soon!

November Club Projects!
